On April 29th, the launch ceremony for the construction of the National Non-Coal Open-Pit Mine Safety Intelligent Mining Key Laboratory, co-hosted by China Resources Building Materials Technology, and the on-site promotion meeting for the intelligentization of non-coal mining in Guangdong and Hainan provinces, was held in Fengkai County, Zhaoqing City. Xue Jianguang, Director of the Policy, Regulations, and Technology Equipment Department of the National Administration of Mines Safety Supervision, Feng Guoxiang, Director of the Guangdong Bureau of Mines Safety Supervision, and Jing Jian, Deputy Director, as well as Ji Youhong, Chairman of the Board, and Jing Shiqing, CEO of China Resources Building Materials Technology, along with nearly 300 representatives from emergency management departments and mining enterprises from Guangdong and Hainan provinces, attended the meeting.
The meeting held the launching ceremony for the construction of the Key Laboratory for Intelligent Mining of Non-coal Open-pit Mines under the National Mine Safety Administration. As the first Key Laboratory for Intelligent Mining of Non-coal Open-pit Mines in the South China region, it will be established based on the Zhaoqing Runxin Dapai Mine of China Resources Building Materials Technology, and will play an important role in promoting the technological advancement of intelligent mining in China by researching the technical system for the entire process safety intelligence construction and operation of non-coal open-pit mines.
During the on-site visit, Chairman Ji Youhong provided a detailed introduction to the leaders about the intelligent mining construction. Director Xue Jianguang, Director Feng Guoxiang, and their delegation conducted field research at the Zhaoqing Runxin Dapai Mine, visiting areas such as the mine observation deck, the Intelligent Mining Intelligence Center, and the Mining Area 285 platform. They thoroughly examined the application effects of systems such as intelligent blasting, unmanned driving, intelligent drones for surveillance, and online monitoring of slopes. They also investigated the operation of geological exploration vehicles, 5G intelligent drilling rigs, unmanned excavation and loading equipment, gaining in-depth understanding of the application and operation modes of various intelligent devices in the mine. They highly praised the achievements of China Resources Building Materials Technology in intelligent mining construction.
