China Resources Building Materials Technology Holds Mobilization Meeting for "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style

On February 28th, China Resources Building Materials Technology held a mobilization meeting for the "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style" at the Guangzhou Learning and Innovation Center. More than 310 participants, including holdings’leaders Ji Youhong, Jing Shiqing, Li Baojun, Zheng Qinghong, Li Chuanji, Cai Xiang, Li Wei, Chen Anguo, Jiang Muchuan, Chang Yang, and Yin Yue, along with direct management cadres and Phase III trainees of the Young Talent Class, attended the meeting either on-site or via video conferencing.

 

During the meeting, Zhu Jiamu, the President of the Chinese National History Society and Chairman of the "Chen Yun and Contemporary China" Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gave a lecture on the party history entitled "My Experience of Chen Yun's Work Style." He provided a detailed introduction to Comrade Chen Yun's meritorious achievements and noble qualities in various historical periods of China's revolution, construction, and reform, including his life experiences, historical contributions, economic thoughts, and leadership style. Zhu Jiamu highlighted Comrade Chen Yun's firm beliefs, adherence to principles, pragmatism, concern for the masses, love of learning, strategic thinking, clear boundaries between public and private affairs, and indifference to fame and fortune. The lecture provided all attendees with a profound intellectual baptism.

 

Chairman Ji Youhong delivered a speech titled "Self-reflection, Courage after Shame, Systematically Advancing the Level of Concept, Ability, and Work Style" during which he provided deployment arrangements for the successful implementation of the "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style" from three perspectives: "why," "what is lacking," and "what to do." He pointed out that launching the special action of the "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style" is a specific management action to deepen the implementation of the Group's "Four Reshaping" strategy, a strategic consideration and proactive choice to win the "Five Major Battles," and a requirement driven by the current situation and management needs. Chairman Ji emphasized the need for introspection, aligning with the midterm review goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and having a clear understanding of the shortcomings in terms of conceptual innovation, iterative capabilities, and work style improvement within the cadre team. By introspecting and identifying the root causes, he called for a comprehensive examination of concepts, abilities, and work styles, using a breakthrough in thinking to guide breakthroughs in action.

 

CEO Jing Shiqing put forward three requirements for implementing the spirit of the mobilization meeting. Firstly, he emphasized the need to attach great importance to the meeting's spirit and quickly disseminate it, deeply understanding the significance of carrying out the special action of the "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style." He called for a sense of responsibility and mission in transforming concepts, enhancing capabilities, and improving work styles, thereby enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship and genuine competence among employees .Secondly, CEO Jing emphasized the need to make orderly progress in actions, closely integrating the special action with the implementation of the annual key tasks of each unit. He stressed the importance of considering the overall situation, avoiding formalism, and ensuring that the achievements of the special action are based on real results and practical effectiveness. Thirdly, he stressed the importance of assuming responsibility. This includes strengthening organizational leadership, formulating action plans and work lists, and implementing hierarchical supervision. Leaders at all levels should take the lead and set an example, strengthen publicity and guidance, and ensure the effectiveness of the special action, continuously creating a new situation of high-quality development for CR Building Materials Technology.

 

Vice President Li Baojun introduced the "Special Action Plan for the Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style" at CR Building Materials Technology. He explained the overall requirements, work objectives, main measures, implementation steps, and organizational guarantees, emphasizing the need for practical and proactive approaches and long-term persistence. The focus should be on liberating thoughts, innovating concepts, enhancing capabilities to fulfill the responsibilities of transformation and upgrading, and improving work styles. He emphasized the importance of implementing each of the fifteen key items of the special action to ensure tangible results and practical effectiveness.

 

In 2024, as the first year of the company's renaming as "China Resources Building Materials Technology," the special action of the "Year of Enhancing Concepts, Abilities, and Work Style" will be carried out. This initiative aims to shape a new image, demonstrate new achievements, and further inspire employees and staff to be courageous and skillful in their struggles, creating a strong driving force for surpassing others through learning. It will foster an atmosphere of entrepreneurship and provide a solid guarantee for achieving the strategic goals of the holding company in the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
